Star Trek Cast

The U.S.S. Enterprise encounters an alien space buoy, which warns the crew that they are trespassing into Melkotian space. Captain Kirk ignores the message and orders the ship to continue its course - and then immediately finds himself and Lieutenant Commander Spock, Doctor McCoy, Chief Engineer Scott and Ensign Chekov transported to a recreation of Earth's Wild West. The disembodied voices of the Melkots inform them that they are to die for their crime of trespassing; the method of their death has been taken from Kirk's memories, and, because his ancestors pioneered the West, they have been brought to Tombstone, Arizona on October 26, 1881 - the time of the infamous gunfight at the OK Corral. Kirk is cast in the role of Ike Clanton, Spock as Frank McClary, McCoy as Tom McCloury, Scotty as Billy Clanton and Chekov as Billy Clayborn. Spock recalls that at 5.00 pm the Clanton Gang shot it out with Morgan, Virgil, and Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday - and were defeated. With their phasers and communicators inoperative and force fields preventing their escape from the town, the five officers desperately strive to find a way to avoid the forthcoming confrontation. But when Chekov is killed by a bullet fired by Morgan Earp, it seems that their fate is sealed...
